I also picked up this big box of custom rigging from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fisco.com\">Fisheries Supply<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.h2ak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190723_091713_01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-754\" src=\"http:\/\/www.h2ak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190723_091713_01-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.teammonkeyfist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190723_091713_01-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.teammonkeyfist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190723_091713_01-150x113.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.teammonkeyfist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190723_091713_01-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.teammonkeyfist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_20190723_091713_01-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a full set of standing rigging for the lightning, custom made to fit my lightning with the taller mast step and other modifications; it even comes with the smallest jib roller furler I&#8217;ve ever seen fitted to the forestay.<\/p>\n<p>I also finally, after partially pursuing two different alternatives, decided to go with the stock stainless steel spreaders. Once those were made, i laid the mast out on a set of sawhorses and attached all the rigging bits to it.<\/p>\n<p>Then with the help of a friend, I managed to get the mast stepped. I swear, what is it about sailboat masts that make them grow twice as big once they are up in the air?
